Sumika Polymer Compounds (Europe) are part of an expanding global network of compounding facilities, currently manufacturing engineering thermoplastics from sites in UK, France, Japan, China, Singapore with further sites due to come on line in USA, Saudi Arabia and Thailand during 2009 & 2010. All sites are part of Sumitomo Chemical and its investment partners global Polypropylene strategy, which is supported by Sumitomo Chemical’s global resin production capability in excess of 2 million tons. The compounding network enjoys the support of the parent companies extensive Research and Development facilities at the Plastics Technical Centre near Tokyo and local facilities at each site, all dedicated to meeting the needs and expectations of our global customers.
